Privacy Policy

Effective: July 15, 2026

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

AXI (hereinafter "the Company") processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those stated below, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be taken.

  • Provision and operation of software products
  • Product analytics, diagnostics, and service operation data where a product includes those services
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints

2. Personal Information Collected

The Company limits collection to what is needed for the stated product purposes. Many AXI products keep user-created content on the device or in the user's selected Apple services, and product-specific integrations are described below.

Automatically Collected Items

  • Crash diagnostics, device/app/OS state, and stack traces where crash reporting is enabled
  • Usage/product analytics, app events, device/app information, and Remote Config service data where analytics or configuration services are enabled

Items Collected During Service Use

  • Products using iCloud sync (Shopping Calculator, Claude Timer, etc.): User data is synced through Apple iCloud, and the Company does not access such data.
  • Products using external APIs (MarkRight, etc.): Document content is transmitted to the API provider during translation requests. The Company does not separately store such content.

Arcade95-specific Google and advertising services

Arcade95 for iPhone and iPad (iOS 26+) includes Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Google AdMob, Google UMP consent, and Apple App Tracking Transparency.

  • Arcade95 may collect usage/product analytics, advertising and ad interaction data, device and app information, identifiers where permitted, and crash diagnostics through Google services.
  • Tracking and IDFA use depend on Apple ATT authorization and relevant consent or privacy choices. If ATT is denied, Arcade95 does not track as defined by Apple.
  • ATT is requested only after an active scene is available, and AdMob starts only after ATT status resolves. Google UMP consent does not replace Apple's ATT permission.
  • Ads are limited to user-selected interstitial surfaces, currently the activation watermark and Donate shortcut. Arcade95 does not use a persistent banner ad.

3. Retention Period of Personal Information

The Company destroys personal information it controls without delay after the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. Third-party services process and retain data according to their own terms, privacy notices, product settings, and user choices.

  • Data stored on device: Deleted immediately upon app removal
  • iCloud synced data: Deleted when user removes from iCloud or terminates account
  • Customer inquiry records: Retained for 1 year after inquiry resolution, then destroyed

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company does not sell users' personal information and does not provide it to third parties as a rule. However, exceptions are made in the following cases.

  • When the user has given prior consent
  • When required by law or when an investigative agency makes a request following procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes
  • When a product integrates service providers such as Google Firebase, AdMob, or UMP, those providers may process data for analytics, diagnostics, configuration, advertising, and consent management as described in this policy and their terms.

5. Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.

  • On-device encryption: Security products such as Krypt and Bulbul encrypt data using macOS Keychain or iOS data protection.
  • Transport encryption: TLS/SSL is applied for network communications.
  • Minimum collection principle: Only information needed for the stated product operation, improvement, diagnostics, advertising, consent management, or legal compliance purposes is collected according to product features and user choices.

6. Rights and Obligations of Users

Users can request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time. Data stored on the device can be managed directly through the app's settings or by deleting the app, and iCloud data can be managed through Apple's iCloud settings. Arcade95 users can manage ATT permission in iOS Settings and advertising consent where Google UMP or in-app choices are offered.

7. Privacy Officer

The Company designates a privacy officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and to handle complaints and remedy damages related to personal information processing.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is effective from the effective date, and any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws and policies will be announced through this website at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
